Blanchet Designs has been selected to design a dress for The Emmys in September, Oscars in February 2013 and The Grammys in 2013. Our client will be walking and working the Red Carpet in all three events. We are pleased to be a part of this. As usual, the Blanchet Designs team will be involved as Janaki will make each dress, Artemisa will design the jewelry, Marinello School of Beauty will do the make-up and Jonathan Medel will take photos. We are working on getting us to be able to attend and have pictures from the event.

Blanchet Designs Expanding!

Blanchet Designs has decided to add one more demention to their already expanding company. We the Design team of (Janaki, Jonathan Medal, Sebastian Castillo, Aubree Lynn Stout and Artemisa Knutdson) will help prepare you with a portfolio. That can be for the person (male or female) who would like to enter into the modeling world, reality TV or just revamp their career.

We are an experienced team that will provide you with photos, video, advice, jewelry and stylist. We are charging for this portfolio or whatever you want to use it for $2500.00. We get $1000.00 up front $1000.00 half way through the project and the the final $500.00 when finished. Our first meeting is free so we may see what you are looking for and if we are the right fit for you.

Introducing FINE magazine's Spring 2012 Fashion Event: Xposure

Blanchet Designs, is please to have been asked by Heather Fine, of FINE Magazine to participate in the magazines 5th annual fundraiser for San Diego Charities. Blanchet Designs, will be one of a handful of talented San Diego Designers featured in this show at the Morgan Run Spa and Resort. The doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm.

San Diego Stylist Aubree Lynn

Blanchet Designs, has been hired by San Diego Stylist Aubree Lynn to design a vintage wedding dress for her June 2012 wedding. We will be creating a vintage dress with crystals in the lace bodice and an a-line skirt that gathers in the front and back held together by a jewelry piece designed by Artemisa's Creations and Blanchet Designs. The dress is being made by Janaki Ravinutala for Blanchet Designs. We at Blanchet Designs are honored that Aubree would choose us to create her dress that allows her to have her dream day. We will do you proud and make all your dreams comes true!!!

Rap Video Sneak Peek!

January 15, 2012 - Blanchet Designs has received a sneak peak that the rap video we participated in back on October 22, 2011. Karryna Kauffman is wearing our gold crystal dress that is shown in the beginning of this sneak peak. Stay tuned for full length music video to be released soon.

Blanchet Designs, was very honor to have Karryna Kauffman wearing our designs in the Miss California Pageant, which took place on January 6-8 of 2012. Although she did not place, she is a winner in our minds and heart. Just look how she rocked our designer swimsuit and gold evening dress with a medallion art piece created by Artemisa's Creations in honor of her friend Wendy, who passed away in a car accident this year.

Thank you again Karryna, for giving us the opportunity to participate on your life journey and for always being there when Blanchet Designs wants a professional.

Blanchet Designs and Marlon Dane's music video

Blanchet Designs was proud to participate in the making of Marlon Dane's (feat. Sage Baby) music video in October of 2011. The song is titled "I Just Wanna Know" and Karryna Kauffman (Miss California 2011 contestant) was wearing a Blanchet Designs gold crystal dress for the video. "Enjoying the Journey" Documentary

As of September 1, 2011Blanchet Designs is proud to announce that we have titled the documentary "Enjoying the Journey". We will be featuring both fashion shows of Blanchet Designs, interviews with charities, behind the scenes of getting ready for the 'Beginning of Hope" fashion show, preparation for the Miss California Pageant (behind the scenes of the design process), and of course a rare look and conversation of the designer herself, Stacey Blanchet, who sits down for questions posed to her by family, friends, business associates and her collaborator on her upcoming autobiography.

We will be entering our documentary into film festivals in 2012. Stay tuned as this journey keeps unfolding and turning into different directions and new opportunities.

Stacey would like to say "Thank You" to her team of Jon Medal for filming this process now for almost a year by the time when we finish this project. Janaki for keeping me grounded and on track with the business of Blanchet Designs. And, of course all of my clients and models that have made this entire process possible as they have been my inspiration and an absolute joy to work with. Can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for all of us.

Beginning of Hope Fashion Show Update:

On May 18, 2011, Blanchet Designs along with Dazzlme, Linen and Artemisas Creations, hosted a fashion show event to raise money for Voices for Children and Just in Time for Foster youth. We raised over $4,000 for the charities and we want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting such a great cause. We hope you had fun!!!

Beginning of Hope

On May 18, 2011at the Soledad Club in Pacific Beach, Blanchet Designs along with www.dazzlme.com, www.artemisascreations.com and Linden of Los Angeles will host an evening filled with fashion to raise money for Voices for Children and Just in Time for Foster Youth. The evening will include a mexican food, wine tasting, and a no host bar with three speciality drinks to represent the designers (Margaritas, Rum and Coke, and Apple Martini's).

Blanchet Designs is currently in production making a documentary of the entire process of what it takes to get ready and put on a fashion show. We would like to thank Jonathan Medal for donating his services to this project and Jeff Seltzer for photographing the process as well. We will air the film before our show. Stay Tuned!!!!

First custom design of Blanchet Designs!

Parminder Randhawa is wearing the first custom design of Blanchet Designs. She was involved in the entire process at her request. She wanted to know how the process was done so we took her shopping, let her pick out her own fabric and trim. Seamstress Janaki Ravinautala worked with Parminder on several fittings to get it exactly the way she wanted it. Way to go Parminder!!!!

Fashion Show Success

RIE fashion was held on September 23, 2010 and was a big success for everyone involved. We raised $3,700 for 'Just like my Child' foundation. Enjoy the photos of the show.

Fashion Show September 23rd!
